My Ongoing Astro Learning
Slowly but surely, I’m continuing to make progress and learn the ins and outs of Astro as time permits. I still need to take a deep dive into Tailwind CSS and Tailwind UI yet, but I’m trying to keep this site simple for the time being.
I haven’t worked on the contact form yet, but it’s still on my to-do list. As of late, I’ve just been making style updates for the most part. I would like to learn how to timestamp my posts as well so that I can pull in the current date and time when I publish a post. That way, I will no longer need to manually date each of my posts when I create them. One of my more ambitious goals with learning Astro is building a headless WordPress site where WordPress acts only as the CMS and Astro handles generating static site files from there. There are speed/performance and security benefits to using this approach.
For now, though, I’m going to continue on with my Astro learning. I just need to figure out where I want to go next from here. Stay tuned.
